Pushing boundaries and ever evolving, The Adam Platt Trio (AP3) takes listeners on endless musical journeys with their adventurous style of improvisation that weaves a tapestry of genres together in one stream of consciousness. The material and arrangements include some of Platt’s favorite music from a variety of sources reaching from ragtime and early blues, to swinging jazz of the ’40’s and ’50’s (Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal), to classic ’60’s and 70’s rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie). Even rock and pop tunes from the 80’s, 90’s through today are on the menu along with a host of international influences that harken to the myriad of experiences the musicians have had. Performing every Monday night at The Letlove Inn in Queens, NY. since the fall of 2015. Platt is joined by longtime friends and colleagues Julian Smith (Bass) and Tim Bulkley (drums).  Their first release, the self titled album AP3 is available now for purchase.
